Thanks for Feedback
Quite a few people responded to my invitation and e-mailed back to say what they thought of the re-vamped website – and not all of the e-mails were complimentary! One of my daughters said it was “awful” and this was re-echoed by my brother Denis, who added his own thoughts on how the site should look. Neh mind, eh! I had some very useful feedback from Andrew Murray at PCM Technologies, from Julie Brown, Fiona Maxwell, Mike Campbell and Mike Dickinson and to these I am indebted.
Not only useful but USABLE feedback. Websites are never static, and already you will have noticed one or two basic changes. Not the least of these is the alteration in the size of many of the images in the Gallery, etc. the “thumbnails’ have been reduced in size to little more than a few kilobytes, while the bigger (and clearer) images behind them have had (or are having) their kilobytage rationed also, while trying to maintain some basic detail and clarity.
Keep the e-mails coming!
